Final Cornell Classical Chinese Colloquium of the semester, Friday

The final CCCC session of the semester will feature Professor Son Suyoung's (Cornell) text reading: “How to Read Editorial Principles: Yu Chu xinzhi 虞初新志 and Installment Publication.” All are welcome. No preparation necessary. 374 Rockefeller Hall (the Asian Studies Lounge), 3:30 PM. 

康乃爾大学中文古典研尌會  CCCC is a reading group for scholars interested in premodern Chinese studies. All are welcome, at any level of experience with classical Chinese.

At each session one participant presents a text in classical or literary Chinese. Attendees discuss historical, literary, linguistic, and all onther aspects of the text, and work together to resolve difficulties in comprehension and translation. Presentations include works of all sorts, from the earliest times to the twentieth century.
