Tibetan Language Study available through Shared Course Initiative (SCI)

With the support of the Department of Asian Studies, Cornell is now offering Modern Tibetan language study through the Shared Course Initiative (SCI).  The new course, TIBET 1112, is taught via videoconference in collaboration with Columbia University by Sonam Tsering, Director of Columbia's Tibetan Language Program.

Cornell is also offering Classical Tibetan language courses at the elementary and intermediate levels through the SCI. These are taught by Columbia University faculty, Kunchog Tstetin and Pema Bhum.
