Four new books out from CEAS this December and January

CEAS 2017 fall books

Cornell East Asia Series (CEAS) is releasing four new titles, adding to its strong repertoire of Korean literature in translation and Japanese intellectual and performance history. Series numbers 184 through 187, An Anthology of Kokugaku Scholars 1690-1868What the Doctor Overheard: Dr. Leopold Müller's Account of Music in Early Meiji JapanGood Dogs: Edification, Entertainment, and Kyokutei Bakin's Nansō Satomi hakkenden, and Gendered Landscapes: Short Fiction from Modern and Contemporary Korean Women Novelists, continue the series' commitment to translations of important texts and difficult to access literature.
