Carles Prado-Fonts

Carles Prado-Fonts is an Associate Professor of Arts and Humanities at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya in Barcelona, Spain.  He holds an M.A. from the University of Westminster, London; a Ph.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles; and a Ph.D. from the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona. His research interests are modern Chinese and Sinophone literatures, East-West studies, and translation studies. He is currently working on the politics of cross-cultural representation in a project that examines the literary and cultural representations of China in the Spain during the first half of the 20th century.
