Chiung-wen Tsao is an Associate Professor of Human Resource Management in the Department of Business and Management at the National University of Tainan in Taiwan, R.O.C.

Project at Cornell: Family founder/CEO values, organizational competiveness, and HRM practices: A comparative study of western and eastern family business.

Professor Tsao earned her Ph. D in Management and Human Resources from National Sun Yat-Sen University (AACSB-accredited university), Taiwan. Her primary research interests include strategic human resource management, top management teams, and the people management issues in the family enterprise. She has published Family business and strategic HRM research in a variety of outlets including Family Business Review, International Journal of Human Resource Management, Journal of Business Research, Journal of International Migration and Integration, and Journal of Small Business Strategy, etc. She has a deep interest in family business and talent trends, and enjoys exploring how people, strategy, operations, and process improvement influence the future of family enterprises.
